Do you need a coach?

Second Level rugby coach, specialised with Forwards, with limited experience but passionate and committed, seeks a reliable Club for a fresh start.”

I finally decided to put an end to my tormented relationship with my (former) club. The club where I began to play rugby, where I got injured and ended my playing career, where I have been working with different offices (team manager, webmaster, press-officer, mini and junior coach, and many others…) throughout these past years.

I’ve been trying hard to make it work, I’ve been biting the bullet all season for my team’s own good, but it has been just a huge waste of time (and health): I really can’t work with selfish, unreliable, narrow minded people. Those who prey upon you and then give you the boot with no explanation, just because you’re too straightforward and you don’t have the habit to flatter them. But I’m not a puppet, and I don’t like to play the fool. So, to save my dignity, I decided to call it a day.

I’m only sorry for my boys who gave me great satisfactions, and the few friends (3!) I leave behind.

What’s in my future I don’t really know… is this the end of my promising career as a coach?

I have already had some contacts with another club, but after this frustratrating and disappointing experience I’m not sure if I have the guts to start it over again…

  1. Fiore, crawl down to Rome, we could do with a(nother) coach (although we only play touch rugby, but you never know… 😉 )

  2. Thanks Giorgia!
So now I have 2 proposal to consider!! 😉
I’d love to come to Rome, but in this case I would join you as player rather than coach! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  3. p.s.: please check email… 😛

  4. Another Coach-Player is anyway a good stuff! 😀
